Default First winter problems

So I bought my 15 When I lived in Florida, and have since moved to Buffalo NY. I am experiencing a couple of issues, and wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problems. -Occasionally the drivers door won't latch when it's pulled closed. It just bounces off of the door frame. I have to slam it 9 or 10 times to get it to finally catch! -The windshield sprayers freeze up and won't spray. This happens EVERY day when it's below freezing. Any insight would be appreciated.

Default That's pretty normal.....

those two issues are not unique to your truck.....as far as the windshield wiper fluid.....you need to replace what's in your reservoir with a "Winter" blend which I am sure was not necessary in Florida, but certainly needed in Buffalo! As far as the door latches freezing, again pretty normal....I spray down all metal latches with WD40 to displace the water, after the carrier dries, go back with a white silicone grease or spray or graphite or some other type of lubricant to cover the bare metal.

^^^ what he said. Summer blend washer fluid is basically water (which freezes) winter blend wont freeze so read the bottles and it will tell you how low you can go.

Door latches I haven't had a problem with on this truck but I did on my old Mazda, just spray down like mike said

I had my first winter problem yesterday with my passenger door latch. Same exact issue as described.
