I already enabled climate controls. Raptor svt boot up screen lol . 7 speaker option.
I might poke around the Google doc to see if there's anything else that catches my eye.

I have the Kicker OEM sub. It's simple plug and play. I get the POP noise when the system shuts off.
-Does everyone's do this? Even the aftermarket non-oem subs?
-Does the factory sony system do it?
-Any work-around to disable?

I'm so annoyed with it. I'm about to take the sub out. When you open any door with no key on or anything, it initiates the sub and then pops when it shuts off after a little bit. So, yesterday when i'm cleaning my truck and opening/closing doors. This thing is popping every couple minutes. It popped at least 15 times while i was out detailing my truck

I have the OEM kicker amp and yes the sub pops. I believe it has to do with the amp. I remember when I was really into car audio like 10 years ago it was big to hear soft start/stop. The OEM kicker amp cost under $40 so I would imagine it doesn't use that soft start/stop.

Default Anyone in Chicago burbs want to help?

I would to add a sub using the factory connector that's present in my 17 XLT.

Does anyone live near Downers Grove IL that can enable the software setting for me?

The factory sub that I ordered came in and I installed it. I think it does a descent job of rounding out the stereo and sounds fine for a factory system. That said, I'm disappointed in the way that these Ford factory sub kits have been evolving.

I had a 2014 SCrew and I purchased/installed the Ford Kicker sub package (DL3Z18808A). Bought it from Beau at Rogel Ford in April 2015 for $450. It included the sub/amp combo unit (200w), plus a separate amp/DSP for the door speakers, and 4 new Kicker door speakers. I thought the $450 price was a steal. Stereo sounded great with the upgrade.

But now for the 2015+ trucks, the upgrade offering is just the sub-amp combo, and is only 100w. No DSP/amp for the speakers and no Kicker door speakers. And the lowest price I could find was just under $500. So a MUCH stripped-down kit is more expensive than the precious awesome kit.

There is an option of the Kicker direct kit (I know Stage 3 Motorsports carries it). It comes with a 200w sub/amp combo unit as well as the amp/DSP for the door speakers. But even that kit doesn't include new door speakers, and I think it's like $1200 or $1300.

Has anyone been able to solve the factory sub popping? Happens to me when I unlock the doors but don't turn on the ignition. Like if I'm cleaning the interior, packing, unloading, etc. It appears that the system powers up when unlocking the doors, but then powers down a few minutes later if the ignition isn't turned on. It's at that point that I get the sub pop. It can happen several times and gets annoying after a short time.

same frustration here. i've asked a few times, but no real answers yet. Did your truck come from factory with the sub? Or did you install it?

Partial solution: turn the volume down b4 exiting the vehicle. (less amplified pop)
