Default Factory style Nav solution

Guys just had the Advent plug and play Nav installed on my 2015 Lariat that came with the sync MyFord touch but no Nav. This system basically just adds the Nav option to the right corner of the screen. Pretty seamless. For those of looking to add Nav to your trucks, this is a really good option.

Long story short on why I got this is that I was under the impression that the truck came with Nav, it didn't. Dealer installed this for free. I will post pictures as soon as I have a chance to play with this a little more.

Did you buy it from the dealer? If so how much? I've read where it adds HDMI support, that's what I'm interested in.

not sure what the cost would be for this system as my dealer did it for me free of charge. But here is a video that goes into a bit of detail as to how this works.

Is this the one you got? http://www.adventproducts.com/integr...n/?sku=EXPNAV2

I like that it has a HDMI input. You could do a lot of things with that and a Google Chromecast. Seems to have some nice routing options, too.

But, how do you get map updates / who provides them? I don't see any mention of updates on the website. If you can't get map updates, it's pretty much a deal-breaker as far as I'm concerned.

Yes that is it. I looked around the website and found a firmware update. Near the bottom of that write it says map updates are available but I did not find a link on the website.

Have you tried mirroring your phone? I'm curious to see how that works.

Not yet but there is another video on you tube of this system installed on a 2015 f150 that shows the mirroring feature.
