$1,100??? Sure is a lot of money for navigation. I understand that it integrates it into the MFT but when you can buy a nice Garmin for $100 doesn't seen worth it. I also understand it has more features than nav but still... Wow

I would say that is within the average price range for aftermarket integration. Some are a little less some are a lot more.

There are a few places/people that can add OEM as well. Those prices range from $500 to $1200.

Default Factory style Nav solution

That does seem high for that. I think I'd rather go ahead and spend the money on an Android Auto Head unit for that price.

Does this work with 2014 Sync/MFT models as well? Have a '14 FX4 with MFT but no Nav. The sales guy made a big deal about the navigation in the truck but come to find out its not the Nav model. I went back to ask about it and he told me I had to register it online...After that its only turn-by-turn directions. Haven't been back to talk to him about it. Thinking about going back up and mentioning this upgrade

According to their website...no which I find odd.

Contact them and ask, otherwise if you would be interested in OEM, give me a PM.

Whoa! This could be good.

Does anyone have this who is active on the forum?

Really interested if it's been reliable and if HDMI connection works while driving down the road. The guy doing the demo on youtube mentions it doesn't (to keep people safe), but then mumbles about enabling it with no problem.

I didn't get any responses to my questions above, but went ahead and installed the Expnav2 anyway.

To answer my own questions and for anyone who searches this.....

Yes, the HDMI connection works even while driving down the road. You just have to enable it once in a hidden service menu.

Not sure if it is reliable yet since I only installed it 2 days ago.

Two days ago I didn't have Nav.
Now I have built in Nav and can mirror my cell phone video/audio, even while driving. You can input Nav instructions while driving too.
All of my factory Sync stuff is the same, the ExpNav2 just added to it.

I like my truck better than I did 2 days ago.

According to the website - "Adds the ability for the customer to upgrade to new maps via USB cable as desired, no waiting for OEM maps" .
Looking around it seems naviextras.com is their map vendor. No word on price.
