It would sure be nice, if Someone could Figure out, What exactly the issue with the P.S. parking light truely is!

Which Harness, do you have, TRS or RR?

RR. Order a set from stage3 and same problem. Drove it around tonight to get a xmas tree and now it works. I think it is a vehicle issue. Taking it to Ford next week and willl see what they say.

I've been waiting to see if someone would post about doing a total rewiring to make the LEDs permanent, sadly it doesn't look like that is coming any time soon and I will start going the harness route.

Does anyone have the gen 3 harness on a 2015 501A from TRS? That seems to be the best option right now but I need some piece of mind before I shell out $300...

It is being looked into, its just very time consuming atm with all other things going on. I absolutely plan to do my own direct wiring directly to the oem LED headlights with all necessary changes and wiring to the BCM. Your right it wont be anytime soon, at least for me, but it will happen.

for those of you who have forscan and are running either the rr or trs harness, try inputting the following values in the bcm

726-26-02 xxxx xxx0 xxxx - LED configuration.

Disable all lamp outages and clear all codes.

This seems to be a possible fix. Run on auto with drls

This was passed on to me by livnitup. My lights have been working flawlessly.

0=Type 0 (default for factory LED)
1=Type 1 (default for factory Halogen)

I realize this description is vague but that's what it says so this is the description that will be added to the spreadsheet for consistency. I'm unsure what Type 2/3 do so I'll leave that up to others to experiment and post any observed differences.

Newbie question,

Should I go with the RR or the TRS/Morimoto harness? The RR seems to have less issues running the lights on AUTO with DRLs. TRS flat out says to switch the lights on/off manually. I want to run my lights on AUTO with DRLs just like I have my factory halogens.

They are both the same harness with morimoto components. I would honestly go with TRS. They are cheaper and you will get better customer service. If you call, they will also probably get your a coupon code to save a few extra
