Default Exhaust

Anyone know the best sounding exhaust for 2016 2.7L?

Sound is a matter of preference.

Flow and performance is a different story

Sound wise I just want to sound deeper and louder but not obnoxious! As far as flow and performance what do you recommend?

You are going to be hard pressed to find an exhaust for the 2.7 that doesn't sound terrible IMO.

In my opinion, just removing the restrictive catback system that comes stock and doing a Large, nicely insulated, offset or straight resonated muffler will help flow and give you some nice sound.

Because of the smaller 2.7 displacement you're not going to EVER get it to sound like a V8 or even a bigger V6. the only thing you can do is tone it to your liking. I personally would find a good reputable performance exhaust shop and go that route. It's almost always going to be cheaper too...
Otherwise check out Borla first, they have always been good on not making the smaller motors sound to "farty". Magnaflow is fine, but... eh

And btw, I'd never say you CAN'T make it sound good. You just have to be aware of what you have to work with and make it your own. Again, this is just my opinion based on my experiences. I had an Acura Type S 3.5 Turbo and my Custom Muffler guy NAILED the tone on that car so i definitely will be using him for my 3.5EB

There was another post not long ago about this.

Someone posted a video of one that is available. Check that out and see if you like it.

Our catbacks will give you a much deeper tone, while only being a little louder than the stock exhaust so your new truck doesn't lose any driveability or comfort! We have a few different styles to choose from, so please let us know if you have any questions about them!

This. But it's your truck, do with it what you want. Search 2.7 F150 exhaust on YouTube, I'm sure quite a few different set ups come up. Again, it's your truck, but I'd leave it stock unless it was a V8. Then I'd go Magnaflow.

i would keep an eye on AmericanMuscle's site: http://www.americanmuscle.com/f150-c....html#shop-by1 they are doing different exhaust videos for the 2.7L Eco if you wanted to hear the differences

I will most luckily go with Magnaflow on my 2.7L. I like the quality of their stuff. I have their axleback on my GT500 and its definitely a nice piece.
