Best exhaust system sound in a 2.7 v6
Hi Fam,
I've been searching all over the interweb for the best sound for a 2.7 v6 f150 but I don't have luck on finding one. Anyone out there that have one or heard one that sounds like a 5.0

You will never get a 2.7 V6 to sound like a 5.0 V8. You buy Eco's for the low end power, and MPG's, not sound.

Unfortunately the closest you'll get to a 5.0 sound is the fake noise played through your speakers. The best exhaust for the 2.7 is stock. If you want that classic V8 exhaust note, you'll need to trade for a V8.

I know, It sux. more quiet that my CRV =) I pick the 2.7 for fuel millage but now they're saying that the V8 has the same MPG with 2.7.
sooo you guys think its not worth it to upgrade my exhaust system? I'm hoping I can make it sound like a truck

Do you want a good sounding exhaust or a V8 sound? Cause you are only gonna get one of those things (and its not the V8 sound lol)
EDIT: the 5.0 isn't an upgrade over the 2.7, its just a different motor option. If exhaust note is all you care about you can join the rest of the 5.0 guys lol

i personally like the Magnaflow Sound on the 2.7L, its not over the top like a Borla or Corsa.

I just want it to sound good! I know its impossible for it to sound like a v8 (sweeeet sound) but I was hoping I can change the muffler so it will sound better that stock. a little rumble

You'll find the Yeti carrying Clinton's email server before it was wiped before you find an exhaust that doesn't sound like ****. Don't make an expensive mistake.

Personal preference. Personally, I like how quiet it is, even when flooring it. Noise doesn't impress. My lawn mower is noisy. My neighbor's old 1999 Ford Tempo is noisy too, but it ain't fast. I'm more impressed with mileage and acceleration than noise. Nothing cooler than high end luxury cars quietly speeding off way ahead of the fart-can-mobiles. At least the fart-can drivers can't hear the other guy laughing over their own exhaust.
