I’d imagine a 6.2L with dual overhead cams and direct injection like the new 5.0 would be an absolute monster.....oh well I’ll leave this 13th gen thread to you 13th geners lol.
Its weird cause in my experience, my 6.2 got better mileage on the highway than any eco ive owned 2.7 and 3.5. Plus it was power limited, the throttle bodies only opened fully for a short period of time, tuned was a beast.

I wonder if these percentages are representative of what Ford sees nationwide? I image the diesel would get a lot more love if this were an international poll (other than Canada)?

Not sure how many other countries Ford sells the F-150 in. I would guess the Ranger is available in more countries than the F-150 and the majority of Ranger sales in those other countries are probably diesels.

I'd think the # that is the furthest off is the 3.5NA, now the 3.3NA. Fleet sales are very heavy with that engine. That's a lot of engine sales that nobody will be voting on as an owner.

Also the Diesel is still quite new. I'd think those #'s will look different in a year or two.

5.0 and plan to add Borla exhaust to help assist with the DI noise. Having a FiST I am used to it, however. I had the 2.7L in my 2015 CC and loved the mileage and range with the 36 gallon tank (wish it was an option on reg cab haha) but just had to have the sound and ability to add power down the road on the coyote.

I had two 2.7L trucks and was very happy with them. Now, because of a wreck, we have a 3.5L and there is a noted difference. Also moved from 2 SCABs to a SCREW so I am trying to reconcile that difference with the engine change too. The 3.5L drives heavier is the best way of describing it. I know this may not make any sense but that is the best way I can describe it. One of these day I will take the new ride by the scales and weigh in. My 2018 SCAB weighed in at 5423 lbs.and was over 21mpg for the 9733 miles driven before being totaled. OH, the 3.5L has a bunch more torque for sure. Running 3:55 gears in all my rides.

2.7 eco cause I test drove it, and it convinced me I didn't need big displacement in my aluminum truck..

I know what you mean. My 2.7 reminds me of driving the Civic my wife used to own. It feels and sounds and responds like a small sporty car. It's been a couple months and it still seems a bit odd to me. In a good way,
