Default Driver Alert Warning Rest Stop Message

I am getting through some of the kinks on my new truck as I have had it about a month. Last night, got in the truck, and was on my way home. I had about a 30 minute drive. Five minute into the drive, I get this in the Message Center;

Driver Alert Warning Rest Stop and rest as soon as it is safe to do so.
Now. Driver Alert Warning Rest Take a rest break soon. Suggested.

I was far from tired, not impaired at all, keeping well within my lane and wondering what the heck I did to possibly being told I needed a rest? Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks!

It comes up when you have exited the lane with the lane keeping system system activated. If you continue to deviate from the lane it will tell you to stop and the message will be red vs yellow

It's Labor Day weekend and that's a Union built truck. You should be taking a rest.

"Not impaired at all",,, yea right they all say that... My money is on the truck telling the truth.. Did you have both hands on the wheel or didn't she tell you that first?

I experienced this one too. Hopefully this is normal as explained by Purplezr2.

For what it's worth, this happens on my 2017 Ford Fusion Platinum WAY too often. Sometimes I will have been on maybe a 10 minute trip to a restaraunt. The lane keep assist is on and both sides are green, I am not over nor under speed for the road, and I am not jerking the wheel at all. I wish I knew what triggers that system.

I think if you do a lot of what i call streering correction, it will cause that. I was driving in very high winds one day and it came on several times.

If you jerk the steering wheel a lot it tells you to take a break,,, because it thinks you are not paying attention to the road and correcting to late.. If you drive very smoothly with little corrections it thinks you are not driving at all and tells you to put both hands on the wheel... It's fun on long boring drives to make it give you the warnings you pick..

I've gotten the coffee cup quite often but not the both hands on wheel one yet in 45k. I have gotten the slow the hell down one however, but that always originates near the passenger side and it's an audible warning.
