Got tired of the messages and turned it off. I have enough people telling me what to do...don't need my truck to join in on the fun.

Just bought a 2015 and have gotten this message a few times. It can't be due to lane changes because I've gotten it on one lane roads near my house. It's very distracting so I think this "feature" is going to get turned off.

What package / option is the "Driver Alert" a part of. I see it mentioned in the Owner Manual, but not listed as an option.

When I first got my 16, I got that a lot.. also "keep you hands on the wheel". it gradually stopped doing it. Perhaps part of the AI Learning drive habits stuff.

now and then I still the the "keep you hands on the wheel". even though both hand ARE on the wheel.. go figure.

Driver Alert Warning Rest Stop and rest as soon as it is safe to do so.
Now. Driver Alert Warning Rest Take a rest break soon. Suggested.

I was far from tired, not impaired at all, keeping well within my lane and wondering what the heck I did to possibly being told I needed a rest? Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks!
The same thing happened to me this morning after 5 minutes driving. Didn’t make any sense as I was driving normally and I wasn’t tired at all.

2023 F150 - I had those messages appear yesterday, was towing my 5000 lb travel into a 40 mph Head / Cross wind, being bounced in the lane, had lane departure turned off.

It's because you are jerking the wheel and/or repeatedly bouncing off the lane markers. I've only seen the red coffee cup rest warning a handful of times, and when I did, I was tired and not paying as much attention as I should.
