I have the 2016 xlt with the 8 inch display but did not come with nav and climate control. But today I cranked my truck up and all of the climate controls popped up on the screen but now I can't figure out why or how this happened?

Some 2016 F150 vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 and Electronic Manual Temperature Control (EMTC) may experience a condition in which the climate control features are displayed on the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) randomly and usually after starting the vehicle. The climate control features will remain displayed until the customer navigates away from the screen. Some of the climate control functions maybe functional while this screen is displayed. The vehicle is not equipped with this feature and this is not a normal characteristic of an EMTC system. Engineering is aware of this concern and is investigating. Until a new service procedure is available do not attempt any repairs or replace parts for this condition.

When it disappears again, you can put it back permanently with Forscan!

 

This morning my screen decided to show my radio as being off, however playing from the last station I had running the night prior. I tried to select the Audio, and nothing worked. All other areas are operational.


I have been searching the forum with some direction.... I hope this is the place

 

Can you please explain how? I had this happened to my '16 F150 V1 Sync3

 

Mine has done this too. You can make it do it if you hold the Recirc and A/C button at the same time, but it will disappear if you select anything else.
