My unzipped files are slightly smaller than the ones pictured a few entries back. Is that going to be an issue. I have the autoinstall.lst and the syncmyride folder with 4 .gz files.
Nav download is about 1.68gb and has 4 .gz files
Non-Nav download is about 2.25gb and has 5 .gz files

You would get one of these errors:

Thank you for the Thread and all those who hosted the Sync zip download files!! I have been almost to the point where I wanted to get Android phone just to have Navi. I am hopeful within the next 30 days I will be driving my F150 with Apple Navi on the Big Screen.

Ready to do install then it is just a matter of how long it takes to get new upgraded USB Hub!

Yippie.....

My other generic USB cables seem like they just can't maintain the transfer rate or power requirement. I'm not sure which..
I could get it to recognize with USB debugging on but it still wouldn't fire up Android Auto. I was running a 7.1 ROM on a phone with a Snapdragon 801 that isn't supported after 6. Other things didn't work so I'm not surprised.

I ran both micro USB and USB C through my console. I'm ready for a new phone, 1k for the loaded pixel was just more than I was willing to spend.

Question, will the vehicle automatically update from 1.0 to 2.0 eventually or is the only way to upgrade via USB?

Default Now happy to report i have AA

Bought my truck in July and using Android Auto was actuallya very important factor in my decision. Promised update late summer was goingto be OK!.
And then the long wait. Not a great experience for a GMtruck guy’s first F150.

Had it installed for 12 hours now and thinking I like mytruck again.

Thanks to all that made this possible.

It seems like 2.2 is available...to some. I just checked my account on owner.ford.com (from my cell...which I don't think should matter, should it?) and it tells me that 2.0 is the latest and I'm up to date.
Do they phase out the new updates over a period of time and I just need to wait my turn or do I need to do this check when I'm sitting in my driveway with wifi available?
Appreciate any feedback.

2.2 binaries were leaked. It isn't available officially from Ford yet.
