Current SYNC 3 and CarPlay/Android Auto Information
It looks like you're using the wrong updater. The non-nav needs two separate USB sticks and you swap them when prompted. There is no "single part, non-nav" version. The single part is for NAV only. The two-part is for non-nav.

Hi all I've pretty much read all through this thread as well as some stuff over on the Fusion forums and I still cannot get 2.2 installed. I have a 2016 F150 XLT built in August 2016, it came stock with sync 3 v2.0 NON-NAV. I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge on Verizon but cannot get android auto to work, when I plug in it immediately adds the buttons to the screen however after a few seconds an error comes up "usb device stopped responding" or something like that, and won't go away until I unplug it. I have tried all sorts of usb cables including several genuine Samsung ones and I have also tried every version of android auto there is, still nothing. Somewhere I read about another guy with an S6 having a similar problem and I believe he mentioned that updating to 2.2 fixed it. I downloaded a "2.0 to 2.2" update from the fusion forum and regardless of format type or sd capacity (tried at least 4 different usb drives and sd card with adapter and even redownloaded the file) every time I get "MEM_ERR01". Any thoughts?? Any feedback is much appreciated! I mostly just want Google Maps to work. Also I was going to upgrade the USB hub not so much for iPhone compatibility because I have no apple products but I read somewhere that the old hub is less than 1 amp and the new hub is 2 amps, if I do get android auto working having a 2 amp charge would be far superior to 1 amp or less which will barely maintain a charge on my phone when in use and I believe this is also why my truck does not like usb 3.0 usb drives, can anyone confirm this as well?? Thanks again!!
That was the problem. I did the 2 x USB method and it worked just fine.
Quick question I noticed on my non nag 2.2 after i have my iPhone 6 (with latest IOS)plugged in to use CarPlay and then unplug, it takes a long time Tom Rockne for via Bluetooth. If my wife's phone is in the truck it connects to that one first (mine is set up as the primary). I have deleted the phones and re-paired and same results.
