Default Could this be the end?

2015 F150 lariat in the shop again for the sunroof. Already forked out $2300 for replacing the tracks months ago (and refuse to open it anymore), now, the seals are bad and has leaked to the point of destroying the headliner in one night of rain.

This seems to be a common problem with these and I am extremely disappointed in Fords lack of attention to this. I have been denied any assistance for a known issue on a $50,000 truck that now needs a needs a new sunroof and headliner. I'm on my third ford and love the truck, but the issues are becoming worrisome. I just finished dealing with IWE issues, and now this.

Adding fuel to the fire, was borrowing my fathers F250 (thankfully retired with a flexible sched.) while the 150 is in the shop. On the way home today, it threw an exhaust system failure code and limited speed to 50mph.

2 trucks down in a week.

This may very well be the end of a loyal Ford customer if not two.

I hear ya. Have a 2018 XLT with the 5.0 and the build quality is not good. Should have looked at Tundra even with the bad MPG, or a Titan. This was before the new RAM was out. Will not be keeping this truck past warranty.

This is my first ford truck. I’ll have to see how it does through the first 3 years. I’ve had it for less than a month. So far so good, and time will tell.

So, you made a brand new account with the express purpose of telling us how bad your truck is *and* how bad your father's is? Seems like #fakenews to me.

Actually I made a new account because I could not remember my old account and to do some searching on the issues I am having. Thanks for your input. If I had nothing to do at 11am on my Saturdays, I too would probably be a 5 year member talking **** on a forum.

After owning a 1979 Mustang Indy 500 Pace Car I decided i'd never buy a vehicle with a sun/moon roof again. I haven't had a leaky sun/moon roof since.

Why would anyone want a sunroof on a pickup?

Because four trucks and fourteen years, I've enjoyed all of them immensely without a single issue...
