Default Cotus System down?

cotus.ford.com

It’s showing that it’s pilot phase is done. Is there another way I can check on When a truck was delivered to a dealership?

PM or post the VIN. I'll look it up for you.

That’s because they replaced the beta site with the new production site:

Since this is the first post that comes up on Google when looking at this issue, and I'm a developer, I'm going to point out something that I noticed.

My new truck doesn't show on the new URL either, but it did on COTUS. However, I found something interesting.

If you right click anywhere on the page and click "Inspect Element" to open the developer console, then switch over to the network tab, THEN submit your VIN, you will see the response from the Ford Server. It comes across as a huge wall of text, called JSON, if you then copy and paste that text into a JSON parser (like so http://json.parser.online.fr/) it will come out in a human readable format.

In the case of my truck, it returned a valid response with all of the information about the truck, however there appears to be an error in the code that doesn't output this information.

Consider this the warning to keep this on topic so I don't have to take any further action.

Not sure what the warning is about so hope I'm not stepping over the line.
As and FYI: ON my recent order COTUS was wildly inaccurate. My truck sat for almost six weeks showing build completed. For me, COTUS being down would have been better info than it was giving. Even my stealership made calls after the truck showed built but not shipped for so long. They also failed to get good info.

Wow Mike...I placed an order through Pugmire on 8/22 and it said 10/16 as the delivery date. The date changed a little bit towards the end (it moved up to the 10/11), but it updated when it was built on 9/25 and shipped on 9/27 and it arrived on 10/11, the date it said it would arrive.
Amazing how far off they can be and how dead on they can be, seems odd to be such a variance
