Cotus System down?
Your dealer has access to all the same information (and more). If they’re not giving you that info you need to have a chat with them or find a new dealer next time. There is no excuse for dealers not providing this information to their customers.
My dealer said he should get a VIN within 3 weeks. I texted my sales guy after 1 week just to check in because sometimes VINs are assigned after a few days, and he told me he has the VIN (and gave it to me). If I text him and ask, he will give me the info, it's just I think I have to be the one keeping up on it to know what's happening. It would be nice if I could check on my own and not have to be contacting the sales guy all the time, that's all. Once I get my estimated delivery date, I'll at least be able to try to time the selling of my old truck.
