Default Cotus

I ordered a new F150 on 3/27. I tried looking it up on Cotus but it says it cannot locate a vehicle under my name. How long does it take for an order to show up?

I have a tough last name so figured the same. Doubt we both had the same issue so must be the Cotus system. Maybe it is down?

Mine didn't show up in cotus until I had a VIN. That took 6 weeks from my order date (1/21). What a long 6 weeks those were...

Picking up the truck tomorrow though.

Don't panic. Cotus never worked for me either until I got my VIN. Often, it will not work with the VIN. It's skittish to say the least. It's a hard wait, but worth it. I love mine.

Lux194 is right, I ordered on 03/31, it showed up in COTUS on 04/02 with a VIN. Over the last five days there have been several times where the truck cannot be located for whatever reason. The site goes up and down daily. Just keep trying.

First tip is to close down your browser and reopen it. Don't know why but lately COTUS won't work until you do this at least once, sometimes twice. Happens in Safari and IE. If that doesn't work, look through the VIN tracking sticky for tips. Sometimes the dealer number requires a letter in front of it, sometimes not, etc.

I couldn't get on COTUS either until they assigned a VIN for my truck and then it showed "In production" status. That was one week ago, which was about two weeks after my order date. It still shows "In Production" as of tonight.

The COTUS site is really finicky. Make sure your browser's pop-up blocker is disabled. I seem to have the best luck using Chrome or Firefox...Safari and COTUS don't seem to play well at all. Regardless, I often get a "No matching vehicle found" message after entering my VIN.
