I had that problem. I had a copy of the DORA but never noticed my last name was spelled incorrectly. I was going insane when I first started using cotus. I was about to call the dealership thinking they didn't place my order, but I finally noticed how they spelt my last name.

My order was there once I finally realized the dealership had my last name spelled incorrectly. I had a VIN two days after my order was placed. It took about 10 days to get a build date.

Here's how mine went down:

3/23: Ordered
3/28: Cotus showed "In Order Processing" with a VIN #.
3/30: Cotus showed an estimated delivery date.

Today 4/7 (16 days after I ordered) Cotus is still showing "In Order Processing."

Don't know if this was just me, but the last name was not relevant. I didn't have an order number, but had figured out my dealer used the date for it. I had the dealer code, and tried a few dates from the date I said go (they said the order would go out the following tuesday or something). I really freaked out when I saw a mustang show up. I kept going with the next few numbers and felt better when I found my truck. As long as you have an order number and dealer code, the last name field doesn't matter.

Hey, gang!

As Brittany may have mentioned, the COTUS site is in its beta stages and we're still working out some issues here and there. If you'd like an update on the status of your order, just send a PM our way with your order number and dealership name/location; we'll hook you up.

Cotus is only available to really special Ford enthusiasts. You will have to pass a test to gain access to Cotus /s

Joking aside, it's a customer order tracking website. Here is the link:

http://wwwqa.cotus.ford.com/

The information needed is from the DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment) the dealership receives from Ford.
