I have been very happy with it.

If you buy and install it yourself, use extreme caution with the rear center console bolts since they can break off very easily.

I installed the Tuffy brand from Amazon and have been very happy with it.

 

I have the same one. I had the similar one for the previous generation 2012. I wouldn't have a vehicle without one and ordered for my 2020 before I took delivery of the truck.

Nothing you can put in a vehicle is going to be a bank vault but certain things that can't be taken with me every place I go need to be secured to a reasonable standard if left in a vehicle.

 

I installed the Ford console vault today. Picked it up using fordpass points. Easy install, took longer to get the tools together than installation. Combination lock so no extra keys. I like that the door has springs that hold it open while you are digging around inside. It isn't a bank vault but I do believe someone would have to completely destroy the center console to get into it. It is heavy, surprised me how heavy it was. so far I am quite pleased with it.

 

I have this lock vault also. I only dedicate ˝ the console for the vault, keeping the other half for “deep” storage. I also get to keep and use the tray. For me, it’s a win-win.
