Check engine light!
"evaporative emission blocking valve" is EPA mandated sensor /system. If you have a cap gas system and don't screw cap in all the way - you'll get the same error code. Evil evil exhaust fumes escaping the gas tank...
If it shows up again post powertrain warranty (the sensor inside the gas tank is covered under powertrain) - you can get a tuner to quickly delete that stupid code. Given that it took 10k+ miles to show up, disappear and has been off for weeks now ...not worried at all. Dealer said that driving with that code on doesn't do any harm and said that I could wait and see and bring in if lights comes back on.
I'd rather not have the dealer drop the fuel tank and reinstall if it's not necessary .... Dearborn installed fuel tank / system > local Ford tech installed fuel tank ...

I understand where your coming from, but in my case the light came on with under 3,000 miles on the clock, and every time the light comes on the remote start function is disabled until the light is turned back off....

When the DTC light came on the first time, I cleared the fault ( Autel MaxiDiag Elite). The light came back on when I punched the throttle full open when merging up to traffic speed getting on a turnpike. I'm not resetting it so when I take it to the dealer the P2450 will show up.
I also worry about the gas "cap" flapper not seating properly that would result in the tank vacuum change rate out spec. during the vacuum leak test.

Well my truck is throwing this P2450 code, again. I had the code back in July, dealer replaced solenoid valve/sensor/tube assembly early August per the TSB. Check engine light came on yesterday, same P2450. I checked the fuel flapper all looked ok, and cleared the code. Hoping it was just an anomaly.
Greetings:
I had my '15 F-150 Lariat crew cab 7 Sept. 2015 build ) at the dealer for a day to resolve the P2450 error code by following TSB-15-0171. I had stopped in at the dealer's service department a week earlier to set up the appointment and more importantly to order the order the solenoid valve/sensor/tube assembly (FL3Z-9D683-F ) to insure that they would have the part in stock. I was also having an occasional harsh 5th to 4th downshift when traveling at low speed ( see TSB0142 ). to resolve this issue requires a PCM software update. In addition, I requested them to do the 15k mile service at the same time.
This all was accomplished in one day. What was cool is the service technician at my dealer (Valenti Ford Mystic CT ) took a video describing the work he performed including the execution of the 15k mile check list.

I found this web site extremely helpful in resolving issues and especially getting a list of the relevant TSBs for my truck.

I got my truck back yesterday for this P2450 code... again. 2nd time.
Apparently when I took it to the dealer back in August they decided to not do the TSB for the issue. Didn't explain why they decided not to. Instead they replaced a purge valve and babbled something about flashing the PCM, which isn't shown anywhere on the paperwork.
Yesterday they replaced the parts outlined in the TSB, let's see if it sticks this time.

I don't mind a simple part being replaced but going in twice for something which should have been done the first time sucks. Maybe time for dealer change?
