I've had my truck for two weeks today and I have a damn check engine light on!

I'm about to head to O'Reillys to get it checked.

 

OK.

 

Evaporative emission control
System switching valve
Performance/stuck open

What does that mean???

 

My guess is that your going to your dealer Monday.

 

Check engine light, you are not alone, I'd do a search on the forums as it may give you a little better idea.

I agree with Bob, you need to visit the dealer on Monday. Hopefully it's just a sensor that needs replacing.

There was another dude with the same issue. Seems to be a common issue with the 2.7. They just replace the part and let you drive till it gets in. No big deal.

 

Ugh. Ok. Well that sucks. They don't put that in the brochure!

 

It's in there along with a lot of other stuff that doesn't work right,,,,,


But they used white ink on white paper...

 

Now I can tell you use to work at Ford, you just let one of their Top Secrets out!
