Default Campsite problem

So we are camping in PA.
And at night,we have the cabin lights switched off,but every time we open a door the bed and mirror lights and parking lamps come on.
I am having a hard time searching because of limited internet.Thought I remember seeing something about " blackout",idk,I looked in manual, but didn't see anything that could help me.
I'm just going to start pulling fuses,I guess.
Anyone?

You can goto the dealer and request them to program the truck in Police Dark Mode. It's in the BCM area.

Body Control Module (BCM)

Available Programmable Parameters

Fog lamps
Front turn lamp outage configuration
Police dark car feature
Smart unlocking
Rear turn lamp outage configuration
Tire placard pressure
Tire size

When she finds out you called her an old lady, the truck lights coming on will be the least of your problems!

My Sport Trac does the same, and it always seems like my lights are always aimed just right to illuminate a nearby tent camper. I haven't found a solution. I also want to switch them off while camping, but have the lights available for daily use at home and work.

Can't you push the lights off button on the overhead? I believe that shuts off the dome lights and the outside parking/puddle lamps when the doors are opened.

Pushing that button does not stop the outside courtesy/parking lamps or the cargo lamp from coming on for about 30 seconds when you open a door.

Yep these suckers lite up like a Christmas Tree when you open a door.

When I lived in Atlanta I was a very active member in the Atlanta Astronomy club. When we were out sky watching and you turned your car lights on at night you were hated. You just ruined everyone night vision.

Not good. You should be able to control the lights from coming on or off.
