I got a camera safety recall notice in the mail yesterday.
My truck was built in July and I've had no issues with the camera.
So I guess i'm just gonna wait to see if it acts up.

 

That is odd- Ford says the build dates for F150 bad cameras ended on May 18...???
I had a deal on a new 2020 SCrew 4x4 at an out of town dealer- I was about to go get the cashier's check and head out on the 4 hour drive to them.
Then they told me at the last second because of the camera recall they could not sell me the truck!
They did not have any cameras and did not know when they'd get one.
So the deal was off.

 

I got my 2020 in late March and haven't had any issues with my camera yet currently at 8700 miles. I'm not bringing it in unless it starts acting up.

 

Mine was built in March and my camera is affected, haven’t taken it in yet though.

 

Mine was built in march as well and the camera has never acted up so I won't be taking it in either until it does.

 

Mine was built end of Feb, I've had a dark twice. I hope to wait until another recall or at least plenty of stock. I try to stay away from Dealers, although I do still have my 42k points to use.

 

Got the notice the other day, build date 3/6/20, my notice said they'd let me know when parts are available, then schedule an appointment. No trouble so far with mine.

 

I have not seen a notice yet up here in Canada.
My camera has faded to black a couple times.

Lucky 13 good thing it was Thursday.

 

Ordered truck on Friday, January 24, truck built on Friday, March 6, took delivery on Friday, March 13, I'm doomed.

 

Mine was built on March 6 as well.
What are the odds ?

So far no issues whatsoever including reverse camera which has always worked.
