I haven't done it yet but it's on my list. Based off the various videos I have watched, the spd stud extractor makes stupid easy to remove the studs.

FWIW, on my 2006, I put a Volant CAI on my truck and didn't see any sort of improvement, other than a bunch of intake noise during acceleration.
