I got about a 3mpg bump with mine and if I was lucky 5-10 hp.

Thank you all for the feedback, as I certainly do not want to burn any more cash than I have to (wife already does a bang up job on that front). Thermostat definitely getting ordered. Certainly not going to CAI route, and unless I eventually do downpipes, exhaust sounds like a no-go at least for now. Anyone have any other experience / rec's on performance mods not mentioned here? Before I go and re-tune post suspension / tire upgrades, I would like to throw in another performance mod if anyone has any strong recommendations....?

It's more likely you did the mod in Spring and it coincided with a switch from winter blend to summer fuel or your driving locations changed. A fuel mileage increase from a CAI is highly unlikely.

If you have $$$ burning a hole in your pocket, I vote intercooler. It will only be better for your truck long term and will set you up better for further gains in the future.

I did the JLT catch can and I'm keeping an eye on it to see if it's worth it. Only about 1,000 miles since install, but it's still dry inside.

Maybe give 5 Star a call as well? The person I worked with recommended the resonator by pass as a worthwhile exhaust mod.

On my previous 3.5EB, I did catted downpipes. I could tell that boost came in a bit sooner, but I'm not really sure it added any peak power. Maybe it did some, but I'm hesitant to say it was enough to be worth the cost. I think for real gains from downpipes, you would probably need catless. That has it's own set if issues.

Uummmm, No.

Exactly, except rather than "it's highly unlikely" it's "didn't happen".

SPD turbo adapters are an extremely good investment especially with a tune. They drastically lower EGT's and turbo exhaust pressure.

Total kit with studs and stud removal tool is about $325.00

I have been looking at those! Did you install them yourself? My only hesitation on picking them up is removing those studs. Looks like a pain, but maybe not too bad on a newer truck?
