It's sad to see these trucks...only a couple years old...riding away on flatbed trucks like that. I've seen it too many times including once with my own. Sorry to hear your having issues...hopefully it's nothing too crazy. Did it sound like a backfire?

Pop and shudder sounds like internals. And if so, you'll be very happy to be under warranty.

Not always true, my `17 XLT is a year old & only has 950 miles on it. It probably won`t have 2,000 miles on it when the 36 month lease is up.

Back in 08 I bought an 05 Acura MDX with 25,000 Miles. Today my ex wife still has it and is pushing 250,000. Other than routine maintenance, the car is still good.
just want to find out what is up with my truck . Dealer called and said they can't look at it until Monday. Girlfriend just bought a new Accord today so I'm using that . It's no F150 though 😪

Update. I'm going to Ford this afternoon to pick up a loaner vehicle . The service rep said it was something to do with the motor. I'll talk to the mechanic once I get there to find out exactly what it is. They said it would be 3 to 4 days before it is fixed.

"Something to do with the motor". Nice analysis from the dealership.
