BoxLink...?
Another question about my new truck. Do all of the new 2019 trucks have the BoxLink plates mounted in the bed? Is it just the BoxLink hooks that are the optional accessory?
My truck has the plates already installed...but I didn't get the BoxLink hooks...and they are not listed on the window sticker. Just curious if I was supposed to get them since

I think I have answered my own question. I am seeing other window stickers that list BoxLink for $80. My window sticker does not have them listed. So I am assuming that the brackets are installed on all trucks from the factory and you just have to buy the BoxLink hooks separately. But they are readily available on Ebay for $40.
My 18 came with neither but I think I've read where some people said they were under their rear seat? I assume those are people who had it on their window sticker, too, but if you've got the plates it can't hurt to look under the seats before you spend $40 I guess.
Yeah...I've already got my rear seats up. I always left my rear seats up in my 2013...simply because it kept the seats cleaner...and I rarely had any back seat passengers. So I'm thinking that I didn't get them since they were not listed on the window sticker.

My 2018 didn’t have them either. I kept them from my 2015 and moved them over when I upgraded. I’ve used them exactly zero times since.
When I’ve tied something down in the bed I’ve used the stock hooks on the bottom corners since they secured the load better than the box link cleats.

I suggest the below too. 10 minutes to install.
Actually there is a very nifty system (designed by the same guy that came up with the popular rear seat-back release) that permits the mounting of grid panels in various sizes...that accept a variety of handy attachments for gear.

I like the variety of E-Track appliances you can use with the system but it's not structural and shouldn't be used as such ... meaning it's great for cargo nets and bicycle clamps!
