Black Wheels

Taste is interesting -I would not modify any of the trucks above to look the way they do.
Most of the cars didn't even look right, not even the Audi or Rover. I guess looking back, none do. The stock Mercedes doesn't count because it's stock. I know the Audo and Rover are too.

I agree black is getting tired and overdone. I have been called old and grandpa for having my stock chrome wheels.
I think what bugs me more is that most of the wheels I see if they are black or some other color all look similar or from the same wheel company. Many trucks I see have no character of their own. Dont even get me started on look with the tires sticking way out past the frame.
When I lived in Iowa I had polished aluminum wheels on my Jeep. I had them clear powder coated and they just wiped off and weren't affected by the road salt and winter.

Chrome DOES get you home, as per my old 2001. If Alcoa made wheels for my 2016, they would be installed. However, the Raptor wheels do fit nice with the paint.

I HATE the look of solid black wheels- I think that they not only look UUUUUgly but a lot of folks that have them are just following a trend-- they are followers and want to be thought of as "cool" or in with the crowd,, NOT ALL MIND YOU , but a lot of them. Thats my $.02- Obviously it wont be a very popular opinion or comment but thats just me.
For all of you name callers out there just go ahead and call me all the names you want- you cant call me anything that will bother me-- I grew up a long time ago and I am not full of myself like everyone who feigns @ being so called offended.
OP- good luck on your search- options are limited
