Default Bed length question

On 15's and later, what is the difference in the bed length between the extended cabs and the quad cabs? I've tried to find it and can't come up with a definitive answer.

Depends on the wheelbase, for the most common trucks extended cabs have 6.5 foot box, most super crew cabs have a 5.5 foot box. That being said there are super crew cabs with 6.5 foot boxes and there are extended cabs with an 8 foot box's but these are not as common as the first two. Hope that helps

Yes, I'm fairly sure you can order a truck with any bed length on any cab, assuming you're not shopping for a Raptor.

No 8 foot box available on a supercrew. I know, I wanted and 8' box on a supercrew and had to settle for a 6.5'.

The rest is open season on 5.5' or 6.5', but different choices changes wheel base.

You can get a 6.5 foot box on a supercrew but the wheel base increases 10+ inches compared to a normal supercrew 5.5 inch box which will increase turning radius.

Extended Cab = 6.5ft or 8ft bed.
Crew Cab = 5.5ft or 6.5ft bed.
Raptor comes with 5.5ft bed I believe.

I wasn't really shopping for anything particular. I need to carry stuff sometimes that's 6+ feet long. I currently have an extended cab, so I can fit things in the current one. I was just curious how much shorter the crew cab bed was...I might be buying one in the near future. Thanks for the replies though.

They don't make a SuperCab 5.5ft bed anymore? (non-raptor)
