It's hard to find a Crew can with the 6.5' bed. Most dealers only have the 5.5 as its the most popular. Personally I think the short bed looks funny.

This is true.

When I found my truck, it was the only one east of Montreal in max tow and long box.

5.5' boxes were a dime a dozen.

I suspect it's because the majority of people buy SuperCrews to haul kids around rather than use them like a "truck" to haul and tow.

I haul stuff from time to time, but I wanted the longer wheel base for towing stability as much as anything else.

I'm in no rush to turn around, so I could care less about turning radius.

Makes tight drive throughs fun sometimes though. Good thing we rarely use them...

Correct, on the 2015+ no 5.5' bed truck other than Crew Cab existed prior to the Raptor.

I think the only 5.5 Supercab (Raptor excepted) you could get in the past was a STX and until this year the STX didn't exist on the 2015+..

I always wanted a Regular Cab 5.5 but I don't guess the market is their to make it worth producing another frame. They already make 5 (10 if 4x4 is different) non-Raptor Frames. 122, 141, 145, 157, 164.

Same reason I ordered mine. Now my wife gives me sh*t cause it turns like a battleship. But I wouldn't want a 5.5 now.

The usual excuse I here is the 157 won't fit in the garage.

Turns like a battleship? I drive a 550 crew cab, 11ft bed for work. 24ft long, I am the master of the 5 pt turn around. My 150 crew 6.5 personal driver turns like a Porsche, hahaha.

That's a garage deficiency and should also be corrected!

More garage, more toys!

Careful. You're going to summon C7Jake. I'm pretty sure he just logs in, searches for the term "Raptor," and then posts one of three or four photos in every resulting thread.

Oh no, she VERY rarely drives it.

Im used to the turning radius of a Super Hornet with a 12' tow bar attached. But this truck is easier to back in than make a 5 point turn into a parking spot.
