Default Battery date code

2016, I have had the truck since 19,i think this is the original battery but don't know how to decipher any of these numbers to figure out a date. My guages had been doing some weird things, bouncing off the left at startup and resetting my info screen, from what I read they say low voltage was the cause and to replace the battery. I went ahead and got a new battery and just installed it, so I'll keep an eye out to see if that solves my problem, but would be nice to be able to date this battery... thanks in advance,
Ryan

Can't answer your question about the date. Chances are it's the original battery. Any garage or battery store can test the health of the battery for you. For under $50 you can buy a tester that tells battery health as well.

I agree, I'd be certain it was original. Your weird electronic issues probably came from low voltage as you say.
Although not necessary (it will do it on it's own), did you reset the BLM? There is a procedure, or Forscan is a popular way as well.
Also, it is wise to be certain it is fully charged (not what the store gave you), and to let it sit untouched overnight, to let it recognize battery voltage change.
Good luck, sure isn't like it use to be, plop in new and be done. Let us know your outcome.

I bet with a quick Google search you could decipher the date code.

You say you have had the truck since 2019? Battery based on that is 5 years old? It would have been gone 2 years ago for me, JMO.

I assume you are talking to me, yes I know that. Just stating how I would have been more pro active on a battery that old. Thanks!

Original motorcraft batteries from ford have the date etched into the plastic on the top of the battery.
