Default Back Seat Fold Down?

Hi,]
I have a 2017 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 with the Sport option and 302A package.
The back seat on the passenger side has a small fabric tab to unlock the seat back to fold it forward to access the jack and tools.
Does the seat back fold on the driver side? I have looked till I was blue in the face and can't find a latch or release. It sure looks like it should fold.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I just checked my '17 Lariat with 301A and I think only the passenger side back seat folds down.

Edit: Looks like I'm wrong. Happy others have responded! Tried to delete my comment but can't figure it out on this forum.
Edit2: Just ordered! Thanks guys. With a truck, every spare inch of storage space in the cab is valuable.

I even asked the service guy at my local dealer and he said the seatback didn't fold down. I thought sure it had to.
Thanks everyone for the lightning response to my question.

So I believe I read somewhere that behind the seat is access to the wiring for a subwoofer? Is that correct?

I went through the EXACT same thing with my salesman. I’ve ordered the BuiltRight release, and today I already stashed stuff back there - hitch with 2” ball, hitch with 2 5/16” ball, booster cables, a few tools in a box, a folding shovel, a jug of washer fluid, coveralls, tow strap and gloves. It’s a terrific amount of hidden space I discovered!

I drilled through the release latch nub, added 2 key rings, 1 thru the latch nub and 1 thru the headrest stake. Used paracord to join both keyrings. Total time: 10 minutes, total cost: $0.00 as i had those items laying around.

I think it's against all service advisers and salespeoples religion to say "I don't know".

Yes the seat folds down.
Yes it's a pain to fold.
Yes there are fixes for it to make it easier.
Yes your service manager is a dolt.

On the driver's side, behind the large trim panel next to the rear seat, there's a small connector hidden that's used by the upgraded factory systems. You can buy that pigtail harness from Ford (part number WPT-1212) if you want to wire your own in, but just know that you'll need to enable it using forscan.
