Auto stop
I bought the eliminator used and it works perfectly.
I like how it stays off but with a touch I can turn it back on if waiting in line etc when it would actually be useful.
I don't mind the concept of the A.S.S. but when waiting to pull into traffic and there is a small break then the engine suddenly stops just as you go to pull out is annoying.
It has it's place but not all the time.

I used the coupon code this morning successfully directly on the vendor's website - its either a late arriving Christmas present or an early Bday present!
Update - The vendor is working a partial day up today and has already processed and shipped the item from their location. Great customer service in my opinion!

Same experience for me today.
I did the jumper wire fix (free) on my '17 but this makes it like a factory feature on my '20. That being said I've never enabled the auto stop and never will so disabling it would be fine.
Ordered the quick plug one today with some X-mas money! Hope I don’t instinctively hit the button now and turn it back on! Old habits die hard, but now I won’t have to clean the button!!

Just a simpler way to eliminate SS, get a 4-contact test plug at less than 4$ for your Trailer tow outlet and plug it in.
No SS afterward as long as the plug is in.
Nothing to take apart or alter.
SS does not work with a Trailer connected, by design. You would not want the motor to stop every time, with a Trailer in tow.
You just lose the guidelines and alarm in reverse same as if a Trailer were in use when they have no value.
Good luck.

Yes. With all the decisions one makes on a daily basis... Including and up to putting the vehicle into drive to get the truck to move.... If I need to (optionally) press a button so the truck does shut off at a stop light...I'll do that...
