Auto stop
See page 2 Reserve capacity chart shown percentage, Look at the 75% +/- area.

My 2018 SOC with new AGM resides right in this area just on the low side depending on ambient temperature that affects the charge rate via the Neg lead sensor..
.
See page 8, note; bottom of the page and 14.6 volt charge voltage rate.
.
My 2018 runs at these system voltage rates with a new AGM.
I can at least assume and considering tolerences, my truck with a new AGM is inline with the Doc considering temperature changes.
I offered a before and after performance on an aged vs new battery in the same system, as observed in the dash engineering mode digital voltmeter display. Consider that the voltage is displayed to one diget accuracy to the right of decimal point and cannot readout a fraction below or above .5 volt and rounds off the value to the nearest tenth.
I do not know if every year and equippage can see the engineering mode in the dash small screen display.
If not, a good DMM has to be used manually.
Good luck.

Coincidentally, if I shut the truck off and leave the ignition on, the truck will power off after a few minutes. On my 2015, it would power off as well, but seemingly lasted much, much longer before the power off.

Year old thread but relevant. I never minded the button push, it became a part of startup and I never thought much of it. But I had my center dash apart to run some wires, reassembled and the start stop cancel did not work. Dug around and could not find anything amiss so tried various methods to disable start stop. No tow package so nothing to disconnect under the dash, tried the jumper wire on the switch without success, bought the inline harness that plugs into the switch, no joy either. Must have done something to the progamming so I now bought a 4DTech Ford F150 (15-20') Start / Stop Eliminator this worked like a champ!
I'd have kept on pushing the cancel button if I had not messed something in the programing, but I live in a rural area and missed the canceling feature. Now it just out of mind entirely. KM

Figured out why my AS/S was not working.... well sort of....
I did the BCM reset, ignition on, flashed high beams 5 times, pressed brake 3 times.... Battery symbol flashed.
AS/S now works. So double edged sword, I was worried there was an issue with the battery or charging system, so now I know that there isn't, but now I have to deal with the AS/S feature.
Oh well.

You misunderstood me. "Why they want to do it isn't your business" No, I fully agree that auto start/stop SHOULD be disabled, I'm saying his "solution" of disabling all the other features to disable auto start/stop is a bad one. To reiterate my example, it's like OP says "I've got a broken arm" and this guy says "just cut it off, then you won't have a broken arm anymore". It's a terrible "solution". The solution is to fix the arm. Similarly, in this example, to fix his auto start/stop issue, the answer is not to disable a bunch of other features but to disable it with the auto start/stop eliminator (or other solution that doesn't include crippling your truck).
I'm fully on OPs side about disabling auto start/stop. It's a terrible "feature". Perhaps my example was unclear.
Edit: I believe another reasonable solution to disabling auto start/stop is to use the OBD port and BCM 726-48-02; x0xx-xxxx-xxxx). That would be another *reasonable* solution. But research your vehicle and proceed with caution, that code may not work depending on year/model/etc)
