Can you explain this? Do you mean to say if you disable the seatbelt warning, that the auto start/stop will be disabled even with the seatbelt buckled?

Not sure which method he used to disable the seatbelt warning, but I can confirm that having your seatbelt unfastened will prevent the start/stop from functioning. So, if the chime warning is disabled, but the truck still sees the belt as unfastened, or maybe "unknown status", then the start/stop might stay disabled.

No. I have disabled the seat belt chime using the secret sequence in the manual, so the chime does not come on if I'm driving unbuckled. The Start/stop will not come on if I'm driving unbuckled. It works as normal if I'm buckled up like I'm supposed to be.

Also, the dash information display will tell why it is not stopping if you click down to that part of the display. Including, "engine running due to seat belt unbuckled" or something like that.

2015 has that also. My AS/S works as normal and I too have the seat belt chime disabled. I only drive sans belt at slow speeds on private property, however, so I've not noticed that the AS/S is disabled when the seat belt is unbuckled. Good info though!

I've noticed mine doesn't seem to be shutting off as much either. It has been up to temp, climate was off, brake pressed hard, steering wheel straight, no trailer connected and it didn't shut off. I pressed the button to deactivate it, pressed it again to turn it back on, and the engine shut off. It's done that a few times. And in all cases turning the start/stop off and back on caused it to start acting normal again.

I'm sure it's a coincidence, but I had it in the shop to have the rear window replaced. Since I got it back the transmission seems a little off and the start stop is acting up. Thought about unplugging the battery for a while. Just haven't got around to it yet. Weird...
