I'm wondering if you leave the key in the car and lock using the keypad, if it is would stay running...haven't tried it, but it might be another option. Leaving the lights on seems to be a simple solution as well though.

Test1. Key fob in console. Door locked with keypad on outside . Radio on. Heat on. Heat seat on. Lights in auto. Truck turned off in 25mins 30 seconds.

Test2. Keyfob out in my pocket. Honk twice (#annoying) 😡. AC on set at 65 degrees. Radio on. Locked truck with keypad. Truck turned off in 25mins.

In summary: key fob out, key fob in. Locked, unlocked, heat on, heat off. AC on. AC off. radio on/off. No como I have found yet will leave truck running. Truck still turns off after 25mins.

Put lights in Parking Mode. Truck stays on atleast an 1hour 20mins. Thats as long as i have gotten to sit still for a period of time.

Well. I stand corrected. I just left parking lights on but took key fob with me...truck was off when i got back. 25-30 mins. Yesterday when i idle for 1 hour 20 mins i was in the truck. Key fob inside. I will try that combo again to make sure and update with results.

Do the same thing again, but this time: Put a golf tee behind your left ear, tie your shoelace in a double knot, put all your change into your right pocket, and then simultaneously pat your head and rub your belly while singing "God Bless America" while gargling water.

Only if you are a naturalized citizen from Nicaragua or Easter Island.

Maybe they are trying to make it harder for people to commit suicide. Only thing I can think of.

Ok, just so i have this straight we need to try: Parking light on, Truck running, AC or Heat on, Key fob in the vehicle, lock with keypad.
I'd do it now but its bedtime.

or the techs can program the truck to be in the LEO mode and it should select or deselect items
he or she may have to call ford and get the gravy on the procedure for LEO vehicles.
