AsBuilt Hacker Windows Software
i think i heard as built site was down couple days ago. I just checked and the program will download new asbuilt/etis files to the data directory.
You can click the gear in the top right to see the folder used.
Enter your vin. Get the file.
You will then have the original from ford. Not as good as all the forscan files. I have seen as built be incomplete and not contain all modules.
No secret, uses public data found here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
But, only thing you can go on right now i suppose.

Haven't really messed with it too much lately. other than fixing bugs/issues i'm not sure what else to do with it at this point.
Was busy trying to figure out the mileage storage algorithm for my new 8" cluster and got that programmed to within 1 mile with a simple $15 eeprom programmer. That took many hours to figure out, and took me off this task.

I mapped the audio control module Friday. So will do print and release again.
Hey flsdriver! Your software is pretty cool! Have a couple questions though.
1. I've got my abt from forscan copied into the vin folder. When I click on the vin in ABH I click on BCM. I scroll down to the row 726-45-01 and I see the defaults. I double click on the 1s and 0s until I get the setting that I'm being told is correct for the new gears on my truck. But then what do I do? Does it update the abt file automatically? Is there a save button? Or export to abt or what? How do we write the changes? The reason I ask is that Forscan doesn't seem to be working for me. My 2013 went from 315 gears to 373 gears. So, as I understand it, I change the 013B in the first set of boxes to 0175. I did this in forscan, wrote the changes, it clicked my truck a few times and tells me to cycle the power. Everything seems fine but the speedo doesn't change. Wondering if there's a glitch or something so hoping your software can fix it.
2. When I click on the Known Options button, nothing comes up. I click the Download Known Options button in the bottom and nothing happens.
3. The VIN decode button doesn't do anything at all.
Thanks!!

Can you make ver 1 available?
I first installed it... then updated to current version.
Ran into issue and had to wipe it and a lot of other things.
Now when I install current version... a lot does NOT appear to work.
An example... the known options TAB has both enabled and disabled turned ON for every feature and that does not make sense... and the Modules Compare TAB is fully BLANK. Adding and removing VIN appears to not help. And adding the abt files from forscan does not reflect anywhere that I can see. Thanks.

Tried to install .Net (just in case this is the issue) and got a "you have a newer version already installed error... when I originally installed ver 1... I did not get this.
Maybe this is caused by one of those infamous MS updates...

Hello,
I am working on a major upgrade.
It will show much better vehicle page what is on/off the truck.
Will be easy to see each option and how to turn it on/off.
Save out abt, print module page, export definition to tabbed excel file.
I mapped all of livinitups entries now, so will have much more extensive options.
I also noticed the other day that as built download wasn't working and had t o fix that.
Anyway, one suggestion I can make to make it run is to go to \users\<username>\appdata\local folder, rename/remove AsBuilt Hacker folder. It's where your vehicle changes get stored. Then reinstall.
I will look today at the .net installer issue. Report back on what can be done about that. Edit: uninstall/reinstall worked, I have win10 .net v4.7 and updates, no error like you showed. I will try to do installer that skips if higher exists.

New Version 2.0 is up.
AsBuiltHacker Installer Download
Biggest add on is the vehicle tab (clicking on a VIN after entering it).
It has 3 tabs:
As Built Settings: which shows 3 more tabs for Pending Changes/Forscan Changes/ Factory Settings. This shows you all known options for the vehicle, and how to set them one/off. Just click a slider and it will make the changes for you.
As Built Modules: Detail Hex/Binary data for each module (just like previous versions). with new print function.
Etis Options: As before, just lists etis data.
Lots of time trying to map all of the Known settings. Big thanks to Livinitup and DanMc85 for all that hard work.
Ability to save a module to .abt for forscan load. ONLY USE THIS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE PROGRAM POINTED TO EXISTING .ABT FILES. Some modules are shorter from As Built site. Therefore the files will be too small (ACM for example). Consider this save .abt as Highly Beta and use at your own risk please.
Please consider this a 2.0 Beta, not extensively tested. Maybe rushed it a bit.
If you already had the knownoption.xml file in a custom folder, make sure to get the latest one. Before running program. Installer puts it in user appdata roaming AsBuilt Hacker dir.
This no longer contains .net framework embedded in the installer. New windows updates meant some had issues installing older .net 4.6.1. If you install this program, and it gives you a message about .net needed, download from Microsoft. 4.61,4.62,4.7 work.
.Net Framework downloads
I will try to support any issues you all find.
