This is not really an issue, but I'll bring it up in case your weren't aware - With the latest update I couldn't see the SODL & SODR modules I put in my truck even though I had the .abt files in the folder. I had to manually modify the _asbuild.XML document for the modules I added to show.
I don't know that it's anything that could be changed, but I wanted you to be aware of this "glitch" if someone else runs into it.
Ah good point. I set the module list from as built then apply abt on top of that. I can make some changes to add modules from both sources pretty easily.
i am having trouble getting the app to work
a file is created with this in it
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<error time="2017-07-08T15:21:33.4055719Z" detail="System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at AsBuiltHacker.Internet.AsBuildLoad.readFromInterne t()" source="System" message="The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error." type="System.Net.WebException" host="GATEWAY" errorId="72b55b25-cbe6-4734-ab13-255feb5fbc8d"/>

500 sounds like an error on ford as built site to me.
Ford as built site down this morn? Let me check. Nope, works fine, just ran it on a new vin.
Did the etis txt file go into the vin directory? Wondering if that fails too?
My next guess is that window is blocking access to the internet for the app? Firewalled? Proxy?
Note: You can download the as build from ford and save the xml file in the data dir/VIN Folder...it will then skip the get from the internet.
Note: it does take a while now to go to asbuilt site the 1st time for a download for the VIN...i have to go to 2 pages to get country and cookies set...they changed something on the site and v1 was broken.
Screen shot for that that don't yet know what the new vehicle page, as built setting page looks like...
Left is Tabs Pending, Forscan, Factory. Under each tab shows modules
Click a line and on the right it will present an editor, with all known values.
The current value with checked slider.
Click a slider, and it will apply those values to your vehicle, and move you to then pending changes tab.
That's what you would want to write in forscan.
This shows the Factory Setting for the APIM Blootooth Pairing Name. Current value is F350 (some random truck i was playing with).
You can see the different byt values and location highlighted in gray for this particular option.
Yea it’s weird. It works on my MBP running windows but not on my surface pro. I’ll check to see if windows blocking access. Is there a Mac version coming soon lol
Can the latest version be installed as a stand alone? Or is it an update to the original version?
Uninstall old and reinstall new. Too much going on with the settings behind scenes to run both.

Odd for sure. I don't have a surface to play with. Can get the files from mac to surface to skip the download. I'll see if I can find something about this online.
