Recently I have been having issues using browse to find songs on my iphone 6S. I can find a track, play it, usually selecting the album as the base, and after a while, after done with the album, will go back and try to select a different album, artist, or song, and it will revert back to the currently playing album. Some times it will foll between the different menus a few times then back to the original menu and then freeze up. I wind up having to reboot Sync before I can gain control or unplug the Iphone from USB.
It only does it with the iphone though, the USB flash drive never does it. Is it just the iphone thats the issue? I have less than 600 miles warranty left, and would hate to take a day off for nothing if it is the phone.
Don't know, but I can get my module to act up by taxing it too much. When I really beat on the Nav it will fail every time. When it's working fine I can select a location across the country and while it is calculating the route I start doing thing like inputting voice commands and search for fuel along the route. Locks it up every time.
I have it in for it's last under warranty shop visit. They are replacing the APIM.
I need the details on how you got them to replace the APIM. I have been fighting with my dealer for a year now to replace my APIM. They said Ford won't approve it. I have the same problem as you do, but only with the USB connection. Works fine on bluetooth.

Does it look anything like this? It also happens with my ipod. I bought the ipod which is a different IOS version to prove that it wasn't just my iphone.
This is going to sound bad, but maybe "Bend the truth". Maybe you are getting the same "Intermittent error" that I was getting. You know what I mean. If you look at my photo, lower left-hand corner of the screen. See attached photo. Maybe just "snip" my photo for an example. This error is one of the signs of a failing APIM (at least on the 17-18)
