The voice on my NAV would cut out, and they replaced the APIM on mine.

Just turn off Carplay and use the default home screen. It will fail, just give it time. They will want to flash it once, let me. Then take a photo of the failed GPS and bingo new APIM. I hope that helps.

Just checked my nav and unfortunately there is a gps signal at least for the moment. Thinking about taking a red grease pencil and drawing the no gps symbol.

Mine would have the problem randomly, buy that grease pencil might work

Mine would freeze up, nothing would respond on the screen and had to reboot it using the left audio **** and right arrow button in order to restore it, and also told them it was really slow to respond at times.

Mine is not having those symptoms, unfortunately. Just what is displayed in the video I posted. But to my way of thinking that should be enough. The dealership just can't find a physical fault, so Ford won't do anything.

My APIM was replaced two weeks ago. Mine stopped recognizing my phone was plugged in and the voice prompt button on my steering wheel stopped working.
