Acceleration
I agree, trucks aren't for handling or racing, but having the power like they do, is like a trip down memory lane with old school muscle cars. It's always nice having the power for a hole shot and passing when needed.
I enjoy all the extra power I have in the '12 and '16 5.0s for towing.
Our new Fusion is fun to drive. The wife said the old Explorer 3.5L was nice but the Fusion 2.0L Ecoboost is down right fun to drive. The 2015 Explorer 4WD handled a lot like the F150s.

Realistically speaking, for the money you spent making your truck quick, you could've bought a cash car... unless you're street racing, no need to insure
Ive don't this before....had a 9 second 95 Camaro I built myself. But I also towed it to the track with a lightning which was also my daily driver. I could enjoy the fast truck on a daily basis whereas the Camaro I could not. I also had to store, maintain, and insure the Camaro. Been there, done that, and I would much rather have 4 in 1: daily driver, family hauler, tow vehicle, and fast.

The raptor has a weight disadvantage. The 5.0 does not.
It is true that the fast 5.0 guys generally aren't members of this forum.
