Default About to pull the trigger

Hey guys,

Need some help making final decisions on some parts for my 2017 XLT Screw 4x4. So far my cart consists of Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks, Eibach Pro Lift front coil springs, & black west coast lug nuts.
The problem with deciding is coming down to wheels, and tire sizes. Will probably be going with the Falken Wildpeak A/TW3 either 275 70 18s or 285 75 17s, with either black/bronze Method NV or Method Roost in bronze. My truck is ruby red and would like to run the bronze just hesitant of how the bronze and ruby red will play off one another. Not sure which tire/combo I would like to go with and offset for a little poke. Does any one run a set that is somewhat similar and have any feedback of what they wish they knew before hand? Any information or feedback is greatly appreciated!!

There is another member on here that is running bronze on a RR, looks great. I've thought of having my 6 spoke sport wheels powder coated to bronze, or maybe a little different shade of grey. I think something other than black can work, and be a little different. Personally, I really haven't seen any wheels within reason, that I prefer over what I have.
I will say, my wife's '18 Escape, RR of course, looks great with the appearance package and the GLOSS black wheels. If I was to stick with black, it would be gloss.
Your truck with a lift/level might look out of place with gloss though. Just a thought.

Thanks for your input! I will search around some to see if I can find a truck similar to mine with bronze wheels to get a better idea. I think I would really like that option to switch it up from everyone else. Do you think an offset of 01mm would be okay to run with either 285 70 17s or a 275 70 18?

Those sizes might work, I think both are 33"? Myself, +1mm is gonna make them stick out further than I like, but it should work. You've gotta watch the crash bars on these 13th gens, but they can be spread. I wouldn't remove or cut them. Should work with a mild 2-2 1/2" lift/level. I'd be more comfortable with a +24mm.

Yeah both sizes are 33", but the 285 75 17 is closer to a 34". The wheels have options of 18mm or 01mm, I don't mind a little poke but don't want more than an inch. Would like to avoid any trimming if possible, the 275 70 18s sound like the best option, but they are just soooo skinny lol

That +18mm comes to just a very thin hair over an inch more offset than the stock +44. So likely be good with the 34". Best thing to do, is have the shop mount one, and test fit. Most shops won't balk at that. I would be comfortable, but still test fit. Of course, this is assuming you've lifted it first. Likely don't even need to mention that.
I usually prefer some sidewall on a lifted truck, so with the 17" wheel, I think the 34" would look great.

Okay well you may have just made my mind up on going with the 285 75 17s. I do like the extra sidewall for airing down as well. Now just need to figure out the wheels and color. I'm thinking bronze just because I don't believe anyone here in town have a bronze wheel on a F150

I think bronze would look great. Wish I remembered who on here did that. It was RR, with a lift, and I think a Screw.
Found it, post #14 Check out his album for more.

Falken Wildpeak's in a 275/70R18 are 33.6" with a 2-2.125" level, you're fine with no mod to the crashbars,
