Exclamation 3k Miles and problems, problems, and mo problems...

I've only owned my truck for 3k miles, (a month and a half), but I've got some serious issues going on here.

First, the adaptive steering and active cruse control is totally unbelievable. Why can this truck not drive itself? I mean, you've got all the sensors in position. Does Ford not know that I've got better things to do besides drive? I've got email's to check, text messages to send, and F150 forums to read through....I ain't got time to drive!

Second, the obnoxious road noise....is non-existent! Even with the rear window open, I can barely hear anything from outside the truck! And this is on a lifted vehicle with 34.5" tires! How dare Ford build a truck that's more quiet than another vehicle I've driven. This leads back to my first problem....I could be sleeping on my way to work...

Third, the front seats are comfortable with nice side bolsters...and when the truck is optioned out, it can heat and cool any bum with ease. Truck's aren't supposed to have these luxury features! Who's the genius that came up with contoured seats anyways? They deserve a raise! And the massaging feature is just over the top! Again, I could be sleeping in these nice seats on my way to work.

Fourth, the plethora of cup holders. There are 8 of them including doors, but I can't fit 8 normal sized people into my truck, only 5 or 6. And then someone will be whining about being stuck in the back with these plush heated seats....how can I subject my passengers to this level of luxury, when they are not used to it? They will be asking to borrow my truck for the smallest of errands, I can't have that!

Fifth, the 360 camera is just too much. Showing all aspects around the truck when parking, or maneuvering through the fast food drive through with ease....I expect to be hitting curbs and running over crap, but with the 360 camera, I can easily avoid all of this. Very helpful with the larger cab and bed combo's.

I could go on and on, but I don't want to whine too much about my awesome new truck....I know how it upsets some people

I love this truck!

Sorry for your problems. I hope to have the same "issues" when mine arrives in 60-90 days.

Thank goodness for this thread. I was beginning to feel a lot of negativity since joining the board a few days ago.

With a little under 3k I have discovered a couple minor things but I absolutely love this truck.

Same here I absolutely hate my truck too.

All of those problems and more!

The stereo is good enough that the JL amps seem a waste.

The platinum rims I like JUST enough to not waste money on aftermarket.

The sound from the V8 and Ford custom muffler sounds AWESOME (Big negative there)... kind of a deal breaker.

Really, I don't know why they bother selling em.

As someone who just came over to the Ford family and a F150, I must say that all of the above are why I ended up with this truck. I was blown away in almost every single way and this truck is head and shoulders above the rest.

I am so happy I made the decision to buy it when I did. It has only been a short time since I got it but it puts a smile on my face every time I get inside.
