3k Miles and problems, problems, and mo problems...
...Fifth, the 360 camera is just too much. Showing all aspects around the truck when parking, or maneuvering through the fast food drive through with ease....I expect to be hitting curbs and running over crap, but with the 360 camera, I can easily avoid all of this. Very helpful with the larger cab and bed combo's.
I could go on and on, but I don't want to whine too much about my awesome new truck....I know how it upsets some people
I love this truck!

As for the 360 camera, both my daughter (19 yo) and my mom were caught looking up thru the moonroof, trying to find the spy satellite that must be following the truck...
I am glad I stumbled upon this thread. It is the best one here.
I understand sites like this turn into a place for those who do have problems to vent and create the appearance that lots of people are having issues even if it is a small percentage. You have to take what you read here with a grain of salt.
I took delivery of my truck last week. I had a good COTUS experience as what it told me exactly what was happening with my truck up to the day it arrived even when it got stuck on transit due a flat tire. In the end it arrived 3 days sooner that original forecast even with the delay.
After reading all the negative stuff on this forum, I was nevous. But with my truck in hand, I have to agree with the others on this thread that this truck is AWESOME. Some the techie features would so well that I am surprised the engineers could get it this right on a first try.
I guess I am now a major FORD FANBOY drinking FORD KOOLAID!

I'm at 6000 miles in a little under 4 months. I've had most of the same problems as you.
One other annoying issue I have is that I don't get to stop at the gas station as often. The attendant said the other day they were feeling left out.

You are right these problems exist and now I have to live with them for my poor decision but I guess I am lucky I only got the XLT and I really don't have half the options that most of you do so I guess I am happier than all
I will never fully realize some of these high-tech features.
For example, I have not yet utilized the collision avoidance system. I still use the ancient method of "brake before I hit it".
When I first was test driving the truck I did end up buying, I was backing out of a parking space at the dealership (with my salesman in the passenger seat) and the "cross-traffic alert" warning went off (warning me about an approaching vehicle). I immediately applied the brakes and looked over my shoulder for where the "offending" vehicle was. My salesman remarked "You don't have to look over your shoulder, just look at the dash and it will tell you where the vehicle is!". Neat feature, but I think I will still be looking over my shoulder...

As someone who just came over to the Ford family and a F150, I must say that all of the above are why I ended up with this truck. I was blown away in almost every single way and this truck is head and shoulders above the rest.
I am so happy I made the decision to buy it when I did. It has only been a short time since I got it but it puts a smile on my face every time I get inside.

Or maybe my mother put it best when she was up visiting last month.
She flies up and i am busy working, my gf picks her up at the airport. Apparently on the 30 minute drive to our place she comments to the gf how nice the truck is.
A few days later she wants to go to town and as we are all working she takes my truck.
That night at dinner after driving my truck for several hours and putting on over 250 kms, since she just drove around in the country and even went all the way to another town. Mom says to me that my truck is the nicest vehicle she has ever driven. She owns an Acura, and her best friend has a bmw. Said they are not as nice as my truck is to drive. On her 5th or 6th day up to visit i had to do a fuel run and mom went with me. So i hook onto the fuel trailer and away we go. As it was low on jet A the weight was not bad going out.....but coming home full it weighs 10300 lbs. She was sure it would struggle incredibly on the hills and very twisty road i live on, and we have over an hours drive to get home.
When we get to the yard and i park, she asked me if i was sure of the trailers weight.
Because my parents gmc 3500 handles their travel trailer so horribly in comparison, and it weighs less than my fuel trailer when its full.
Mom and dad just order a new f150.

I have to say that I feel your pain as well. Those issues are almost enough to make you want to go order another truck. Traded in a 2010 Lariat for my 15 and everyone says that is is too nice to be a truck. I agree, it rides better than most luxury cars. I havent regretted my decision to buy for one second.
I have to travel for work about 2 weeks a month. I am executive elite at National so I get to pick the nicer cars on the lot. I freaking hate getting rental car now that I have my truck.
when I travel, I actually have to turn my own brights on, turn on my windshield wipers, check my blind spot, don't even get me started about backing out of a parking space. 😎I told my boss that I need a driver when I travel because I don't know how to drive these older cars. 😀.
