I could not get it to work on my 2018 Lariat. Tried a entire matrix of changes on both modules.

And what is the programming procedure?

Reverse Tilt Mirror Calibration:

1) Switch the ignition on
2) Press the memory button
3) Select the mirror you want to adjust
4) Put your vehicle into reverse (R) and let the mirror automatically tilt until it stops
5) When the mirror is in its tilted position and is no longer moving, adjust it with the controls
6) Hold the memory button for 5 seconds to save the setting
7) Press the mirror button and return to park (P)
8) Hold memory button again

I tried this and seems to not work. If I have one of the mirrors selected it will then moving when I go in to reverse, but I have to hit the button again for the mirror to return to the same spot. I tried both F and FC with out success any thoughts? One other strange thing, the mirrors did not move at first. I had to manually adjust them once I was in reverse.

I'm also having an issue with getting this to work on my 2019 Raptor. I tried both the FXXX and the FCXX in the 740/741-13-01 field. The other mods worked just fine. I'm thinking maybe it's how these are written to the module. Do you guys turn the truck on (pressing brake pedal & start button) or do you just hit the button when it asks to cycle the ignition?

K, so I'm going to state the obvious here... if this feature can be enabled using forscan, why isn't it a factory enabled feature of the truck?

I guess Ford opted not to, same reason that the folding mirror can be turned on thru Forscan but are not that way from the factory.

Car manufacturers do this all the time when they have a separate luxury line (i.e. Lincoln). These luxury features are reserved for those cars. Same thing between Honda's and Acura's, Toyota's and Lexus, etc. I'm sure Auto down windows all around wouldn't cost Ford a dime.

Before anything else, I had the exact same issue: everything else worked perfectly except the damn tilt mirrors. Remember having a hell of a time to make them work. In fact, I actually gave up on them,, when they started working all of a sudden, so have no idea what the heck I did last. But I went thru the procedure listed on post #13. At any rate, I just checked my codes and there were FOUR changes needed: I changed them (in ascending order) to F/FC on DDM, and F/FC on PDM.

Finally, I never used them until recently, and was surprised not to see them tilt when selecting R. So clicked on the right mirror and it tilted. That was when parking the truck. Remember perfectly that I noticed it didn't tilt back to normal after selecting N, or even P. Also thought it was strange, so deselected the mirror, and it went back to normal. Maybe if you take off they might reset at 'x' MPH, but who knows. At least it seems to be a 'normal' aspect ot that, if that helps. The idea of setting up memory 3 is not a bad idea, but I'm fine having to deselect the mirror if needed. Better than not having tilt reverse, no?

Did you wait at least 10 seconds after coming out of reverse--there is a time delay for sure, as it messed with me for a while lol
