Hey, folks.

I've been interested in adding the factory 110v inverter. I have the fuses in place and, if it's like the subwoofer, the wiring harness is to be found somewhere.

Anyway, assuming that I'm correct, do I need to activate anything in the BCM or other modules? I scanned the testing spreadsheet but didn't see anything but timeout settings.

Thanks.

You can do better with aftermarket... there's a thread or two on the factory inverter limitations.

Ok, found the issue. I can PM you if you want.

Thanks again Dan, appreciate your input and expertise greatly. Same goes for Livn who provided some code.

Well, I might be the only member in Canada with functioning auto fold tow mirrors!!

The pin reversal went easy, I picked up a Stanley precision screwdriver kit from Walmart and made short work of it, got both sides done in about 45 minutes with a beer and smoke break in between.

I didn't do the programming myself, a local member did it as I don't have the equipment yet, but I am very happy with the way this function operates. Because if you use the switch inside, it inhibits the auto-fold from working until you use the switch inside again, which is beneficial for backing in and out of my garage.

I also have the global window function now too which is very helpful!

Just adjusting the mirror so it tilts down to look at the back tire to see the parking space line or curb. Mirrors are smaller then my old 2010

Just a thought. Thanks.
Sorry to bring an older post up but was wondering if anyone now has any thoughts on this? It would be nice to be able to set the buttons to your liking. I wish the Reverse and Forward buttons on the right side of the wheel would go up and down one channel at a time instead of just through the presets.

Albeit, I have an Explorer; but the darn mirrors will either tilt up or down and keep clicking (I did't bother to wait until it stopped on it's own pass 5min).
Mine are working on my Explorer(and another Limited) after changing the first digit to F in DDM/PDM 740/1-03-01 and 740/1-13-01

Setting it was tricky and took a couple attempts, I also had to recall the memory setting when I was done.

Try this:
Reverse Tilt Mirror Calibration:

1) Switch the ignition on
2) Press the memory button
3) Select the mirror you want to adjust
4) Put your vehicle into reverse (R) and let the mirror automatically tilt until it stops
5) When the mirror is in its tilted position and is no longer moving, adjust it with the controls
6) Hold the memory button for 5 seconds to save the setting
7) Press the mirror button and return to park (P)
8) Hold memory button again

Here is my spreadsheet of settings I have confirmed on my 2016 Explorer Platinum

Thank you to DanMc85 and Livnitup! I now have remote global windows open/close, reverse tilt mirrors, and no double honk on my Explorer!

So I've got something funny going on. I have aftermarket LEDs in my front turn signals and rear brake/turns. I have resistors on the front but not the rear. The lights all flash properly but I get hyperflash on my IPC. I have enabled the bambi mod with LED turns but still get hyperflash (bambi mod works). Any ideas?

I have also (I believe) disabled light outage detection.
