Question 2018 Cluster

On the trip they removed liters used and replaced it with time. I always liked the used portion as it closely confirmed how many KM I got at 136 liters (36 Gallons). I'm sure the answer is no but could this be changed in programming.

Definitely with you here. My 2011 also showed fuel used. I was pretty good at filling between 26-28 gallons. Now I have to guess based on Distance to Empty. Actually had the low fuel light come on during my last drive between Seattle and Portland. First time I’ve gone more than 50 miles after it came on. Went below 0 miles to empty by the time I hit the station. As I’ve only had this a few weeks I will need to get better at this of course. Probably one of my only significant gripes on my new truck.

That is the one difference between my 2012 and my new 2017 that I miss.

I'm assuming still nothing on this topic? I just got a 2018 Lariat and for rid of my 2014. I liked the liters used function on the trip view. I'd love to find a way to get it back.

They changed this in the firmware and hasn't been available since the 2015 models.

With all the other "options" you have within the cluster functions, seems like this would be a "no-brainer".

And no way to hack it i'm guessing?
The dealership couldn't change the options?
Seems redundant to have KM/Miles to empty above the gas gauge and on the trip meter.

I have a 'gal used' section on my 2015 when I click on either trip 1 or trip 2. It also shows the time, and a couple other things. Is this what you guys are talking about? I've never even paid attention to that and just use the DTE. Maybe I should start!

No way to hack it back (I've tried) and dealership can't do it either...I have the same software as the dealership and there's no option for it.

Yes, they changed this in all 2016+ F150 clusters
