Believe me I am getting a copy of all paperwork, and I’m going back next week either way to close the case. So far so good though it seems like a freak code that worried the motor more than necessary.

Still makes me me wonder what lies ahead though. I have already looked into lemon laws and everything if need be.

Mine was only $41K and we have already been on vacation and have only owned it 6 months.

I looked up towing companies that works at night just in case though.

After I kept reading this, I remembered in the first week with my 2005.
It was driving fine, then it wouldn't accelerate at all. Kept idling, but would not rev.
Crossed my fingers and turned it off. Started it up and it was fine again. Never threw a code and never happened again. For 9 years tho, it was always in the back of my mind. Especially when I was on the highway.

So two trucks had issues the first week or so. Then they both never had any issues again.

I just passed 7 days with the 18. I'm not saying anything!

yeah MSRP was ~51, got it for Under 40.

So so far so good so we shall see if the issue pops back up or not.

im really hoping that’s the case here and that it’s not a constant issue or if it happens again, it gets the parts it needs

If it makes you feel any better. I'm on year 13 in 3 different f150's and not once, have they not drove me back home.

Of course I was at work when the 13 was misfiring, but I rode with the tow driver and had my truck back in 5 minutes. The whole ordeal was a 1/2 hour. May have been different if I was in the woods of Maine or Vermont, but I wasn't.

Now each of those 3 Chevy's I had when I young left me stranded without any roadside assistance back then.
I'll always have that in the back of my mind.
