2017 Sync 3 update
At least on the page CiDhed linked, you could actually click the disclosure text and bring them up. On the page TomboAT65 linked (which was the one I was looking at as well), you have to scroll to the very bottom to find "Additional Disclosures" basically buried. I did not see that until you pointed it out, and based on how that page is laid out (with italicized notes under everything) it wasn't intuitive for it to be where it was.
Slashgear posted this video couple weeks back. It's an interior walk through with the Raptor. It appears that the person talking works for ford. I'm assuming that because of the way he talks. anyways.. 38 seconds in he shows carplay working and talks about how it works back to the 2016 sync 3

I get your point regarding Android/Google and it's snarfing of data, but the Geek in me wishes just a tiny little bit that Google would allow all that data to be piped to a Dashboard on my phone. I've love to watch and track stats like that over the long run piping the data natively from OBD2 to the infotainment system and into an App on my phone.
