Seems excessive considering I purposefully did not order anything with delayed availability.

I did Scott, still sitting in DB, still awaiting shipment, no hold on the truck, just awaiting shipment. My dealer is getting trucks built after mine now, though, so I'm starting to wonder what the deal is. Who knows. Our local Line-X place runs about 6 weeks out on scheduling appointments, and I had mine set up for this Friday. When I called to let them know in advance that I'd needed to cancel because I didn't have the truck yet and it was something that was unanticipated and out of my control, they were really not happy about it... so even if I get the truck next week, I'm looking at 2016ish before I can get a bed liner sprayed in. Sigh...

This whole time I've obviously been anxious to get the truck, as we all are, however, I would rather have had a firm date I could hang my hat on, whenever it was, than be playing the "who knows" guessing game on when it may or may not show up. It is the whole concept of effectively managing expectations or in this case not doing so that has been the biggest annoyance. i.e. I would rather have had no ETA than a 10/30 ETA from Ford a 10/26 ETA from my dealer and now no one that has any idea what the ETA is.

Keep in mind that they didn't start kicking these out till the 2nd week of October and orders opened up on 8/27 - 8/28 (cannot remember which day it was). Plus all of the fleet orders that probably went in before 4th quarter, on top of it being a new MY run, so there were probably a significant number of dealer inventory orders that went in as well as they don't have any 2016's just sitting on their lot. i.e. It's not outside the realm of reasonable that there were a sh*t ton of orders that went in before you placed yours. Congrats on pulling the trigger on a new truck, though, can't wait to see pics when you get it.

...and I don't think any load has shifted to KC yet for production (think that is this week or next). Once that happens your build date might bump up. Once you get your VIN and can see your window sticker you'll know for sure what the real build date will be.

Got the same answer today too, no update, awaiting shipment.

I know transportation is tough right now, I run the logistics for my company, but this is a bit crazy. Just wish I had a firm date, or even acknowledgment that the date is past and they are working on a new timeline.

I know I'm being impatient, and I'll love the truck when I get it, but this just is frustrating. Especially when the GM dealer across the street has a really nice HD, too bad all the accessories I already have won't fit...

Anyone seeing 2016s on the lots with anything above the XLT package?

Count me as another built and sitting while awaiting shipment. Obviously never thought it would happen but guessing the estimated 11/15 delivery date will come and be looong gone before any hint of truck, hell probably before any real info....

Both of mine are built. Got word one is in transit and scheduled for delivery the 25th of November and one is awaiting shipment and scheduled for delivery the 29th.

Only a couple. I'm tracking 30 Dealer Ordered Lariat Vin#'s and most were built this week. About 3 were built on Oct 15th and about 5 the rest of October.
