2016 Tracking Thread
This whole time I've obviously been anxious to get the truck, as we all are, however, I would rather have had a firm date I could hang my hat on, whenever it was, than be playing the "who knows" guessing game on when it may or may not show up. It is the whole concept of effectively managing expectations or in this case not doing so that has been the biggest annoyance. i.e. I would rather have had no ETA than a 10/30 ETA from Ford a 10/26 ETA from my dealer and now no one that has any idea what the ETA is.
...and I don't think any load has shifted to KC yet for production (think that is this week or next). Once that happens your build date might bump up. Once you get your VIN and can see your window sticker you'll know for sure what the real build date will be.
I did Scott, still sitting in DB, still awaiting shipment, no hold on the truck, just awaiting shipment. My dealer is getting trucks built after mine now, though, so I'm starting to wonder what the deal is. Who knows. Our local Line-X place runs about 6 weeks out on scheduling appointments, and I had mine set up for this Friday. When I called to let them know in advance that I'd needed to cancel because I didn't have the truck yet and it was something that was unanticipated and out of my control, they were really not happy about it... so even if I get the truck next week, I'm looking at 2016ish before I can get a bed liner sprayed in. Sigh...

I know transportation is tough right now, I run the logistics for my company, but this is a bit crazy. Just wish I had a firm date, or even acknowledgment that the date is past and they are working on a new timeline.
I know I'm being impatient, and I'll love the truck when I get it, but this just is frustrating. Especially when the GM dealer across the street has a really nice HD, too bad all the accessories I already have won't fit...
Count me as another built and sitting while awaiting shipment. Obviously never thought it would happen but guessing the estimated 11/15 delivery date will come and be looong gone before any hint of truck, hell probably before any real info....
